Last night sucked. I went to bed watching highlights of two Albert Pujols jimmy jacks and a comfortable Angels lead. Rather than watch the ending, I chose to catch up on Game of Thrones and tried to decipher Jaime Lannister’s inaudible muttering to Brienne. Note to HBO – good acting and British accents make it kinda hard to hear. Turn your shit up.
When I woke up, I discovered the Angels played its longest game in club history (six hours, 32 minutes), blew a five-run lead in the eighth and ninth innings, a one-run lead in the fifteenth and lost on a walk-off, two-run homer from Brandon Moss.
